Description
Victoria Police plans to issue a Market Approach (pursuant to the eServices Register) on 16 May 2018 seeking responses to provide a replacement of the Road Policing Drug and Alcohol Section (RPDAS) extant ADIDIS, hereafter referred to as ADIDIS-R.
The ADIDIS-R application will support Victoria Police to efficiently sustain the current number of roadside drug tests (RDTs), and should future policy changes necessitate increases beyond the current 100,000 RDTs, the ADIDIS-R system will be integral to Victoria Police's capacity to achieve such targets.
ADIDIS-R is part of a broader investment in road safety initiatives both within VicPol and in collaboration with other government agencies and road safety partners (such as TAC and VicRoads) - aimed at reducing the number of traffic offenders, and through this, minimising the Victorian road toll.
The RFQ will seek:
An alcohol and drug database based on a commercial software product configured and modified to meet organisational needs and services, including but not limited to:
- Migration of all historical alcohol and drug data into the database
- Support the integration of the replacement database into the Victoria Police ICT system.
- Deliver training, including courses and materials to users and administrators.
- Provide support and maintenance of the system, including level 3 technical support.
Service Providers with capability in all of the following eServices categories may be invited to respond:
- Application Architecture
- Business Architecture
- Information Architecture
- Applications Development
Market Approach documentation will be made available via the eServices Vendor Panel arrangement. In order to be eligible to be invited to respond, you must be registered on eServices by 14 May 2018.
